eBay 1935 Chrysler Plymouth PJ Coupe . The all original steel body is in perfect condition.
The car has never been in an accident. Not even a dent and No rust with the exception of a little surface rust on the floor panels. I have the original unaltered fenders, running boards, hood and bumpers. Powered by a GM 350, Hone Overdrive(Model 300), Rhoads lifters & cam, Brodix aluminum heads, rebuilt Turbo 350, Weiand intake manifold, Eagle headers, Carter AFB spread bore carburetor, MSD-6 ignition, Auto Meter gauges, Currie 4.11 9in. differential and axles, Weld wheels. Engine code is V0209TJU and the casting number is 3970010. I cannot find a VIN code and cannot read the date code.(I have all the receipts). I have not worked on the car for about 13 years. Last driven in 2006 . Original frame, motor mounts welded on along with a strap to support the transmission. Also tabs for the shock absorbers.Front and rear suspension are the original springs (re arched). Rear spindle on the front springs turned 180 degrees to lower the front a tad. Modern shock absorbers all around. The car has been driven less than 30 miles on this engine. (I drove it stock for twenty years). It had been garaged for at least the last 60 years. The tires have less than 30 miles on them but they are over 30 years old and the rubber is getting hard. The car was started last October with a little gas being poured into the carburetor, (the rubber gas line connecting the gas tank to the fuel line had become brittle). The car will need to be trailered. The fenders with brackets, the hood and the bumpers also take up room. I bought this car in 1968 when I was 19 and the car was 33 years old. Now after 52 years I need to sell. I have little knowledge as to its value, but think that these old steel bodies that are in this good of shape (perfect) must be few. Please ask your questions before bidding. The car is also being advertised locally and my sell off of ebay. All reasonable offers will be considered.
