1955 Studebaker Custom Pick Up
You are viewing a very nice fully restored custom truck. Owned 20 years with the build starting in 2010 and finished in 2016 with 3,400 miles since done. This truck a super nice with high performance and very fast. Many man hours of custom fabrication were involved in the build.

Body/Paint: Complete frame off build with the body taken down to bare metal with lots of fab work done to the original steel. The tonneau cover is hand made. The bed is stock, but modified. Custom tailgate and roll pan. Rear fenders widened 2.5 inches. SSR taillights. Customized grille work with frenched headlights. Kindigit door handles with Fob door poppers. Hood is customized with inner hood skin and cowl cover, extended inner wheel fenders with custom hood hinge set up. Wing windows removed. Original bumpers, but customized. The paint is PPG base/clear 2014 Ford silver engate. 4 coats primer, base and clear. West sanded and buffed to a super nice finish. The body and paint show really nice and highly detailed.
Interior: Customized interior with high detail. Custom garnish moldings. Door poppers, alarm, single CD stereo with remote and 4 speakers. Electric windows, power steering, power brakes, cut out switch for exhaust, overdrive switch and tonneau pop switch. Full gauge package and shoulder harness seat belts. Very nicely done.
Running Gear: 502 crate engine dressed with HD value springs. Edelbrock intake and 800 cfm carb. Pulls 6,500 rpm. 700R4 trans with shift kit build to handle 750HP. Rear end is a Mopar 8 ¾ locker with 373 gears. Runs strong and everything works like it should. HD radiator with dual electric fans and runs cool.
Suspension: Boxed original frame and modified. Front end is a power Fat Man rack and pinion. Rear is a leaf and 4 bar traction set up.
Bright work: Very nice
Glass : Custom tinted.
Exhaust: Electric cut outs with ceramic coated headers and custom exhaust set up with Magna Flow mufflers. Sound incredible.
Brakes: Power front disc brakes with drum rear. Stops excellent.
Wheels/Tires: American Racing chrome wheels 8 inch front and 10 inch back. Tires are BFGs 225/60 15 front and 275/60 15 rears with lots of rubber. No spare.
Summary: The truck represents a very high end build with many very cool modifications. Must see to full appreciate.
