This is a 1956 Chrysler 300 B, there were 1,102 produced and approximately 150 known to exist today. I had just about every nut and bolt off this car when I did it 15 years ago. The drivetrain has been completely rebuilt and I have over 1,000 photos of the process to show its stages along with a receipt log book and hours. This is a VERY solid car. NOT a rusty car. I personally rebuilt the engine, it has ross racing pistons and a Clay Smith cam with glass packs. Transmission has been completely gone through and doesn't leak a single drop, I also rebuilt the ball and trunnion front u-joint rear, and went through the rear end. The car leaks one drop of oil from the aftermarket spin on oil filter adapter that I need to fix.. Go figure its a after market part that leaks. . I restored the dash and rewired it with Genes Y and Z harness which you can see in some of the under hood shots. The red wire you see coming from the positive battery cable is part of the flame thrower kit that can be easily changed to a cloth braided wire or the system can be completely removed. Very simple system. The car has a CD player under the drivers seat, the factory radio lights up and works as well its just not hooked up to the speakers. Instead of the one speaker grill in the rear window I used two of those fixtures and did a left and a right and put them in the place of the super structure holes that are provisions for ac cars so there was no modifications or cuts that needed to be made to any metal. I completely went through the brake system from top to bottom front to back. I wouldn't hesitate to jump in this car and take a long trip in it. Starts very easily, never gets warm and has never once stopped on me. Fuel system is all gone through, as well as the gauges, you name it ALL of the mechanics of the car are gone through. It rides wonderful and is very tight and hugs the road the faster you go, very fun car to have over 100mph. Its won many awards and is a big attention getter wherever I take it. Especially when the flames are seen and heard. This car gets more attention than my other black 56 300 B that was once concourse winning. The car sits at its factory ride height, it has not been lowered. As you can see the chrome has been done just about everywhere, even the wing vent assemblies. It has the factory original upholstery in it except the carpet, headliner and glove box. The car also comes with a custom tailored tan flannel car cover, same as the cars you can see in the background of one of the photos. I am trying to downsize a little and since I have a few of these cars I have decided to see if there is any interest out there to find it a new home. I have more cars than I currently want. If you have any questions at all or would like to see it in person or go for a ride please don't hesitate to call. The lic plates on the car are not registered to it and don't come with the car. Ill provide the registered plates at the time of sale if that time comes. I will gladly store the car indoors with security for a few weeks if need be until you have found a shipping company that is reasonable and you are comfortable with. Thanks for looking and God bless. 1-909-855-7853
