*1962 Chrysler New Yorker Town and Country*413 w/ Pushbutton transmission*Running, driving, stopping vehicle
Here’s the story on the 62 Chrysler. I bought it at a small car lot in Southern Az. Car had been totally dismantled and all the pieces were piled in the wagon. Over the past year and a half I have gathered parts and gone through the car to get it where it is today. Overall this is an amazing car that turns heads every time I drive it! I have got the wagon this far, but I think it’s time for a new owner to take it to the next step.
*I have some more pictures and videos that I can email or text. Just let me know.
Pros-*1 of 793 built in 1962*Runs,drives,and stops under its own power *Brand new exhaust from the manifolds back w/ Magnaflow mufflers*Functioning rear power window*Has beautiful patina’d original paint*Functioning Electroluminescent dash and gauges*Rides amazing*Its a pillarless early MOPAR wagon!!*Rebuilt heads*New water pump*Electronic ignition*Just had the original radiator rebuilt with a new core*Rebuilt date coded alternator*Just installed new rod bearings*Structurally rust free and solid*Did I mention it’s an early Mopar wagon😁😁
Cons-*Motor burns a little oil*Has rust in spare tire well, small spot behind passenger rear wheel, small spot above passenger headlight, and a couple small areas in the front floorboards. ( not rot through, but looks like water got sandwiched between multiple layers of metal)*Brakes aren’t great*Radio and wipers are not functioning at the moment*Interior could use some love*Missing glass on outside mirror
