This 1965 Austin Healey 3000 has benefited from a sympathetic body-on restoration.
It is equipped with a 3L in-line 6 engine, coupled to a 4 speed electric overdrive transmission. The engine is newly rebuilt by High Mountain Classics, at a cost of $15,000. It has a new stainless steel exhaust system.
The car is newly painted in the sought-after color of Healey Blue, with white coves. The interior is newly redone, as original. The wood components and steering wheel are new. It has a new blue top & tonneau cover.
The car rides on newer Vredestein tires, and also has new chrome wire wheels.
The gauges, wipers, turn signals, and lights are all in working condition.
This car is an original California Bay-Area car, with records from the 1980's. It runs and drives extremely well, and has no known immediate needs. It is currently stored in a climate-controlled hangar. I am willing to store the car for up to 2 months after full payment is received.
