eBay 2/23/2019 Update. If you have interest in this car, but are scared of the windshield/back glass channels, I propose this offer. Contact me- look at my craigslist ad for details-and I will do a fiberglass mat/plastic bond repair and install the glass. If this car was a special GTO I would cut all of it out and do a proper panel weld in but I think this car would be just fine with a water proof fiberglass seal up(I promise you would have to look hard to tell, not my first rodeo). I was hoping someone would like a nice spring project when the weather warms up. Here in Waxhaw (15 minutes south of Charlotte) it has been non-stop rain and 32.5 degrees. My offer is this-do the repair and spot prime in with a good epoxy primer and a close matching basecoat color blended into the existing color. For the original asking price of $3600. $1000 deposit up front and the remainder in cash when picking up. If it doesn't sell today I am still going to do this repair and relist it. Thank you for looking! Happy motoring, Greg.
Walk around and fresh engine camshaft break-in/engine running/undercarriage videos on you tube Gregory Anderson Motorsports is the name of my youtube channel - I made a playlist for it,1965 Lemans the opera. Check out my ad on craigslist Charlotte.
Replaced the points/condenser distributor with a 1 wire HEI unit and put the totally gimmicky see through cap and rotor on it because I like the old visible V8 model when I was a youngster. The LT-5 wires are the real deal I worked at a Corvette shop 25 years ago and we raced prepped many ZR-1's they are NOS.
Toyo tires have maybe 100 miles on them.
Installed the motor last week-see my video links-mild cam installed cam card available upon request.
The brakes shoes/springs/drums/flex lines/cylinders-all new.
Rear axle bearings installed.
The typical rust around the windshield. See video links. I put marhyde rust converter on the rust and was either going to Plastic it in and put the glass back or weld in replacement channels. The rat rod / lowrider direction I am going to go with the plastic route. I wanted to show what you would be dealing with if you buy it.
There is another stock radio for it, have not tried it out yet.
The original glass is in good shape.
The original 2 barrel setup with heat riser intake works but I would put a performance intake on it to take advantage of the improved camshaft.
