here Lotus Super Seven S2 RHD Crossflow motor Weber carburetors. Exceptional running and driving Lotus Seven. First registered April 26, 1966 in London, England. The car’s original chassis plate is shown in the pictures. The tub is original but later, some S3 and Catetham body panels and upgrades were made, as described below. In the mid 80s, approximately 4,000 miles ago, the car was restored with new Arch Motors frame with all the Series 3 frame reinforcements. A Ford rear axle was fitted as well as Series 3 rear fenders. The car was also fitted with new adjustable Spax shock absorbers. Approximately 2,500 miles ago, the car was fitted with a DSK front suspension upgrade with special upper control arms and an adjustable front sway bar. Between 2014 and 2017 the car went through a complete cosmetic restoration, new series 2 interior, and new extremely high quality BRG paint. Work performed to the interior included new inner panels and seats fitted with new upholstery accented by white piping. Side curtains, a tonneau cover, and top are included in the sale and remain in good condition. At the same time was equipped with a fresh, well built 1600 cc Ford Crossflow motor with quicksilver prepared cylinder head and roller rocker arms. The engine is paired with a 4-speed gearbox sending power to a Ford straight axle. The suspension has been refreshed. The engine is also fitted with dual Italian Weber 40 DCOE carburetors. The car is fitted with new tires and proper Lotus Seven Series 3 steel Lotus Cortina rims. The car is sold AS IS WHERE IS. No warranty.
