1966 Kombi. This has VERY little rust. Los Angeles delivery. Runs and drives well. Lots of new parts. Including new professionally painted Autocraft rear apron, NOS Wiper arms, new LT tires on freshly powder coated stock wheels, new stock bus exhaust, mostly new seals / felt in front sliding windows. Most other seals are recent. Will need door mirror arm and mirror, the roof vent is missing the flapper and a few parts.
Super solid driver's side inner and outer rocker, passenger side inner is very solid, the outer is starting to bubble, but still quite solid. Battery tray very solid, as well as the other side. 2 overkill patches on front floor. Roof has damage due to dents, and also some body damage in lower corner under battery tray.
When I installed the seals in the front sliders, I didn't install the rivet for the vent window, also didn't glue the seals down. I figured that if someone wants to paint the window frames, it will be easy to remove and re-use the seals.
The bus in located in Ontario, about 15 minutes from the US border at Lewiston NY, or about 4 hours from Detroit. Bus would be easy to re-import to the US. I can help with that.
I may cancel the auction at anytime, as it is advertised locally as well...
