This a great starting point for someone looking for an A body with a big block conversion, and I have a clean title in hand.
1969 Dodge Dart - Original Slant 6 Car Y2 car with X9 interior converted to white, column auto. Currently has a 383 with rebuilt holley carb, 727 transmission with a tranny cooler, Torker single plane intake, orange dual snorkel air cleaner, Schumacher mounts, mild cam, with cast iron manifolds that lead to Flowmaster 40s that dump back by the rear wheels.
Newer white seat covers (front bench)and panels with reproduction newer black carpet. Has white sun visors, an excellent headliner and it is as new as the rest of the interior. Glove box insert is new as is the radio bezel, and there is no radio. Antenna was goofy, so I put on a new manual reproduction. If you look in the pictures, the car also needed to be fogged black on the radiator for a correct look; I have recently sprayed it with SEM trim black to make it look much better and correct. The first pic is how the car looks as of today.
Summit temp and mechanical oil pressure gauge mounted on the lower dash frame. Aluminum crossflow radiator, and aluminum aftermarket fan and shroud. 727 shifts smoothly, and the car runs cool (175 degrees in traffic), with SBP 13 inch wheels painted black with dog dish hubcaps that look great and newer tires and the Slant 6 rear end. Manual brakes are solid and car stops straight. Car has a new master cylinder and great pedal, and the emergency brake is intact and works.
All trim is intact and in very good/excellent shape with only one tiny dent on the passenger side lower headlight trim that is so small I did not even bother with it. Bumpers have fresh chrome, and paint shows very well, except there are some small rock chips on the hood on the passenger side. Pictures show the worst of the paint.
Engine bay is clean and tidy (and body colored), though it has a battery in it that is on the small side and maintained on a battery tender. Car starts easily and the carb has been rebuilt and the accelerator pump nozzle stepped up from .031 to .034 to correct an off idle bog.
All glass is clear. Windows all around are original, except for the windshield that was replaced at some point in its life with tinted reproduction glass. Trunk area was painted with a fleckstone paint, but it is solid with no holes at all in the trunk floor area or trunk extensions with a spare and a jack intact.
SUPER SOLID car with no rust issues, blistering or bubbling of any kind that shows like a very nice driver. Body lines are very good. Car is in Poway, CA. Bank to bank transfer preferred, and I can drop with a shipper of your choice once payment in full is confirmed.
This is a very inexpensive car you can upgrade to front disc brakes down the road, put an 8 3/4 in it, put on a rump stripe and drive and enjoy.
