This extremely attractive first year TR6 looks fantastic on its chrome wire wheels that are in spectacular condition. Likewise with the black interior and the much appreciated center ignition position. I added a Mota Lita wheel in 2016 as well as a complimentary chrome gear shifter surround. The car has 94,500 miles and has always been subject to regular routine and required maintenance and upgrades. I have records back to 1989 showing the work done.
I bought the car in 2015 and it was in excellent condition, as well as running very well. Since then I've invested primarily in mechanical upgrades (see below) to ensure that not only is it smooth, but, to the best of a 50 year old British sportscars possibility, reliable also. It's never let me down and now performs at a much better level than when I purchased it.
To be clear, this is a great looking car, but it's not priced as a show winner, that said the pictures speak for themselves and it is complimented everywhere. The deep rich damson red is a perfect combination with the chrome wires, in my opinion, beautifully complemented by the black interior.
Below you can see some of the more recent work that's been done. Detailed service history back to 1989, and it’s 3 previous owners to that point.
