1969 VW BUS All in all, this VW is a good vehicle and a blast to drive. It’s in working condition, and can be used as a daily driver. Engine is a dual port 1600, transmission and clutch are in good condition, it has 4 wheel drum brakes. I started to do the restore this vehicle, but have gotten sidetracked with other projects. The floor board on the drivers side has rusted thru where you rest your feet. Passenger side and the rest of the floor looks good thru out the vehicle. The battery tray and few other spots will need attention due to rust. The interior will need to be redone, along with headliner. Check out the pictures for some of the rust around a couple of the windows. I found online the floor repair panel for the drivers side, it is about 79.00 and the battery tray runs about 49.00. All these would require cutting out and welding back in. Tires are in great shape. New Battery. I'm sure the odometer has rolled over and this mileage is not correct. Head Lights, brake lights, wipers, horn, turn signal all work. I have a couple boxes of spare parts, along with the owners manual. Copy and paste links to see it running. here here
