I am selling my Garage Kept 1972 MGB GT
I have done tons of work to this car to get it to become a reliable and trustworthy driver.
The car drives beautifully with no shaking or wobbling in the front end. It starts easily every time. It is garage kept under a cover and is very clean. Previous owner restored the interior, no rips or tears on seats and a perfect dash and headliner. The Previous owner replaced the dash with a new one and did not re-attach the glovebox. I am including the glovebox in the sale. All of the glass and mirrors are excellent.
The car was converted from 2 – 6 volt batteries to 1 – 12 volt battery. All of the electricals work properly to include interior and exterior lights. All switches and gauges work properly. The electric windshield washer pump was just replaced. All windows go up and down properly and doors and locks work as intended with the exception of the passenger lock. It works when it wants to.
The car has working 4 way hazards and factory rear window defroster. Aftermarket AM/FM/CD/USB/AUX, newer tires on like-new rims and a brand new spare (never used) with jack and tire iron. Exhaust is tight, the front muffler was replaced by a straight pipe to the rear muffler. 2 sets of keys and owner’s manual included.
The underneath of the car is rock solid and rust free. At some point (I don't know when) the car had a repaint of the original color. There is some orange peel and a buffing would get rid of it. A new driver’s side front fender was added when it was repainted and you can see there is a small fitment issue as circled in the photo. It was never a big deal to me and is hard to notice.
The chrome is original and is not pitted and all of the trim is there. To the best of my knowledge I am the 3rd owner of the car.
I have enjoyed driving this car up to 300 miles in one day with no issues.
10,681 Miles show on the odometer –odometer only has 5 digits so I assume it is 110,681 miles; Subject to change as I drive it.
4 speed manual transmission
Factory Oil cooler
Rear window defroster

I am also including a large box of mechanical spare parts to include the original distributor and a rubber gasket and partial carpet kit still in labeled plastic bags. I don't see any body gaskets that need to be replaced but the guy I bought the car off of gave them to me.
