Fun car - part sport, part muscle. Powerful V8 with distributed mid-engine weight that handles well.
Conversion done by previous owner 9,000 miles ago - a crate V8 with good cam and power. First gear is locked-out because there's plenty of torque to start in second gear.
Great paint, though with some bumper scrapes, a few small hood dents, and cracks where the body joints flexes.
Interior is decent, but not as nice as the rest of the car - dash and passenger seat especially could use a recover or an entire upgrade, and the passenger door speaker needs better mounting. The drivers Recaro seat is nice, and the floor carpeting in great shape. Targa top easy to remove.
Trunk and frunk areas clean, sheet metal, and undercarriage, in good condition.

* Upgraded kevlar clutch (rebuilt disc and resurfaced plate), machined and rebalanced flywheel
* Rebuilt upgraded brake calipers, new pads, replaced and calibrated parking brake cable, hydraulic flush
* Upgraded cooling system, protected lines, automatic fan, new thermostat, coolant flush
* Bigger beefier starter motor with a longer throwing gear for better engagement
* Rebuilt pedal cluster for smooth shifting, breaking, and accelerating (new bushings and bell crank)
* Welded new hinge points to exhaust system for improved freedom and clearance
* Large-gauge hi-current battery cables for quick and easy starts, hot or cold
* New alternator, new battery
* Recently lubed the steering u-joint and rack and pinion for easier turning

* Aluminum radiator, Spal electric cooling, chrome alternator, HEI distributor, MSD spark plug wires
* Three Piece Hartmann Wheels (18x10.5 rear 18x9 front)
No work needed to enjoy right now. However, here's some things a new owner might want to do:
* Tires roll fine (balanced and aligned), but the rubber is ancient
* The interior could look nicer with some recovering
* Some touch-up paint for the problem spots (bumper, air dam, body joints/flex areas).
* The automatic trunk release is not connected, requires wire pull from underneath rear bumper, kind of a pain, next on my list to do.
* The stereo works but not a new fancy tech marvel. Crossover amps included after stereo before speakers. Pax door woofer is loose and could use more solid mounting. I don't think there's FM, but this isn't really a car for listening.
Not a luxury ride - it's loud, the suspension is stiff with minimal flex and travel, it's manual shifting, steering, and brakes that require muscle. But the handling is superb. I'm moving to a place where I can't garage it.
