Produced over a nine-year period from 1982–1991, the Porsche 944 proved to be one of the most successful models in the marque’s...illustrious history. The replacement for the 924, the 944 offered a handful of improvements in terms of performance and creature comforts over its predecessor. With a near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution, the car proved to be a competent entry-level GT that was just as exciting to drive as it was to live with on a daily basis.
The 944 Turbo was launched in January of 1985 and at that time, it was the top-of-the-line model in the 944 family. The car’s 2.5-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine produced 220 horsepower. Changes included a new front apron to help aid aerodynamics and included integrated fog lights. The gearbox was strengthened, 16-inch wheels were made standard, and the car was fitted with a slightly stiffer suspension.
One of the most exciting front-engined Porsches to drive and enjoy, the 944 Turbo is often overlooked by enthusiasts when compared to other similar models. Nevertheless, it remains a fun and very dependable car to drive, and makes for a compelling alternative to a BMW, Mercedes-Benz, or Corvette of the same era. This example, with under 228,000 miles on its odometer, certainly will not disappoint. As it is absolutely pristine. The interior is immaculate with the exterior being a very solid 8 out of 10.
This car has been meticulously maintained and runs extremely strong, absolutely no leaks or smoke. Unfortunately, the book containing all the service records has been lost.
This car is offerered through us on consignment by a local private collector.

About A7 Auto Sales DON'T DREAM IT.
DRIVE IT! WE SPECIALIZE IN SPECIAL!
FROM CLASSIC COLLECTIBLE PORSCHE'S AND MERCEDES TO MODERN DAY LUXURY & PERFORMANCE CARS, OUR INVENTORY IS FUELED BY PASSION. A7 was established out of a passion for the amazing cars that came out of Europe in the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s. Growing up, we remember seeing the movies that awed us with these stunning looking cars, we adorned our walls with posters of these dream machines and Germany especially was known for their legendary build quality. We now fast forward a few decades and these machines of our youth are making a comeback. Prices for once forgotten and ignored models are skyrocketing, collectible are increasing in value and the ability to find these future classics is becoming harder and harder. We try to only offer our clients those cars that have been guaranteed a position to be a future collectible, almost all the cars we offer have been seeing at least a 10% year over year increase in value. With the market drying up of these models, we will start seeing even bigger increases in values. Therefore, now is your chance to not only own the car of your dreams, that stunning beauty that graced your bedroom walls but also to take advantage of owning an appreciating asset. However, just because we have a huge passion for these collectible machines does not mean that we are a one trick pony, our passion for cars far exceeds that, that is why we also offer our clients a wide array of other performance and specialty vehicles, anything ranging from modern-day Porsche Cayman’s to ex-military Hummers.
