The passing of the torch of a love affair with this amazingly clean H1. I purchased this H1 from Nevada in 2010, where it was listed as having every option available, including heated windshield, third row seat (rare), monsoon premium sound 6 disc cd etc. (To get the obvious out of the way, no accident history, no dents or body work, glass is all good condition, clean Carfax, always religiously maintained, never been off road or in any water! Cleanest H1 I've ever seen.)
Anyone who has ever owned or considered a Hummer knows that there are weak points. Most have been in water (not mine) and mud which has flooded the cab causing mold smells (not mine). Gauges that don't work (nope), parts missing (nah), cheap replacement windshields (mine is original), CTIS nonfunctional (this one works great), and other hidden high dollar demons (I already paid for those to be fixed).
To remedy the plagued engine block (cast flaw which would fail the rear cylinders due to heat cycle in the factory 6.5’s), I had a conversion done to a 5.9L 24v I-6 cylinder Cummins turbo diesel. Also added a heavy duty performance 4L80E W/triple lock torque converter, aluminum radiator, 4 Kore exhaust system, selectable 2WD/4WD transfer case, carbon heated front seats, Alpha brake kit, 2 lift, billet locking fuel doors, hood snubber set, powder coated door switch holders and performed the 12k service, Group A/B/C inspections. Later we swapped the neutral safety switch to steel ball, and complete level 4 sound deadening. (receipts for all) Recently: Airdog Raptor high performance fuel pump, new VP44 injector pump, new Mean Green starter, new fuel modulator – all with warranty until 2019. September 2018, oil change, radiator fluid change, transfer case service, power steering fluid change.
I didn't do anything to the engine or turbo to boost performance, in order to maintain complete reliability. This truck could easily be chipped or turned up to produce a few hundred more hp and torque.
A few of the major H1 brokers have inspected this vehicle (I can give references to serious buyers) and will easily say this is the nicest/cleanest H1 I've ever seen” This is your H1 if you want a no BS, clean, complete, no excuse, non smoker, conversion that isn't a hack (like most are).
Happy to answer any questions, send any serious buyer more pictures, video, or give you my two certified Hummer Tech's phone numbers who maintained the beast, to pick their brain about any questions/concerns. I truly feel this is the cleanest most squared away H1 to be had.
Price to replicate, this is what I have spent (and most of these DON'T include the install labor. To get a base price, I took the average price of (11) 1998 Hummer H1 Wagons for sale across three sites, most of these were cloth interior, had an average of 67,457 miles, none were anywhere close to being as nice as this one. Nor does this account for the build time, which would take about 4-6 months)
Thanks for looking!

|“Vehicle is as shown in pictures, and as described. I do my best to convey the honest and true condition of a vehicle, but of course, always recommend coming and inspecting/seeing for yourself! This is the nicest H1 I have ever seen/owned. Has been reliable and strong since the conversion, in 2009.” |
