eBay I'm reluctantly selling my (imo) beautiful 1999 V70R in classic red. I purchased the wagon in March of 2016 when it had around 86k on the clock. It was a one family, two owner wagon, with me being the third owner. The original owner kept meticulous records prior to selling/giving it to his granddaughter. Under his granddaughter's ownership, maintenance was deferred during the last two years (of her ownership) only the minimum of oil changes and (new tires) tire rotations performed, so when I got the vehicle I dropped around 4k or so getting it in tip top shape (ecu had issues so had a new one installed, bevel gear seal and fluid change, timing belt, water pump, heater core, etc). Most work was performed at the following shops: Nordic Motors and Status Auto in Redwood City, CA.
Please see the last few photos for representation of imperfections:The body also had some dents that PDR couldn't fix, so I took the car to Selecta Autobody in San Francisco to address those issues. The car had some areas repainted (looks to be passenger side and mirrors) due to clear coat issues, but besides some imperfections (paint on trim on rear window, a wavy finish just above the rear wheel fender, the paint looks nice and blends nicely. The car has never been in an accident. The rear jack point has a dent where it looks like a carjack slipped or it hit a rock or something. There doesn't appear to be any other damage on the underside of the car. There are swirls in bright direct light that a color correction could solve. I had a full car PDR treatment, but living in the Bay Area, it has collect a couple new dents since then (nothing major).
Other issues: Rear drivers side door won't open from inside. Slight rattle front driver side window when rolled halfway down. Sticky buttons front driver side, AM reception is kaput, slight vibration at 75mph (I may be oversensitive, car has a recent alignment at Status Motors)
Overall, the wagon is a solid example of a P80 V70R. You don't see too many in this color and condition. The wagon would be perfect for someone who likes to wrench on it themselves. As everyone here knows, these cars are expensive to maintain if taking it to the shop, but can run forever with proper care.
KW V2 coilovers with new strut and shock mounts (HD version) IPD Sway Bars, new oem endlinks (had IPD endinks but they were noisy), IPD strut bar, TME exhaust (still haven't been able to line it up perfectly, but it is quality unit), IPD tune, 17x7.5 BBS RG-R Forged Wheels in perfect condition.
Cosmetic mods: Viva Bumper Plugs, Viva steering wheel rewrap with Swedish flag color stitching, OEM Carbon Fiber Trim, OEM Jewels.
Some of the major service items under my ownership:
Replace ECU & add software
Timing Belt, Serpentine Belt, Radiator Hoses, Turbo Hose, Engine Temp Sensor, Oil Change (5w30 Synthetic), Turbo Drain Pipe Seal, Transmission oil change, Pads and Rotors all the way around, Brake Hoses, Bevel gear oil change(all oem volvo)
Air Intake Tube
Heater Core, PCV System replaced
Oil Change (synthetic), Replaced front O2 sensor with Bosch unit, Replaced power steering reservoir

Looking through the records, it looks like the granddaughter kept pretty good records up to 2013 (car was serviced at Swedecar), after that, it was driven only 10k between 2013 and 2016.
