A shift in priorities and a lack of drive time has led me to the decision that it’s time to let the Corvette move on to another garage. I’m selling a Pewter over Light Gray 2000 Coupe, 6 speed with 79,100 miles. This is a great driver that is in very good condition overall. I’m the second owner, purchased in 01/2017 with around 77,000 miles. Memory package, dual power sport seats, painted roof, dual zone heating/cooling, power everything, cruise, single CD stereo, cargo cover and net, original glovebox goodies (owner’s manual, tire info, warranty info, VHS tape, pad, flashlight).
Bolt on mods/upgrades/repairs since purchase include the following:
Powerbond OE replacement harmonic balancer with ARP bolt and Continental belts
Coolant reservoir
Borla Stingers (dual outlet – sounds amazing!)
B&M Ripper shifter with black knob
AFE Cold Air Induction (less than 350 miles)
OE Wheels Z06 replica wheels, black/brushed lip with Toyo Proxes T1 Sport tires (less than 750 miles): 17 X 9.5 fronts with 265/40/17 and 18 X 10.5 rears with 295/35/18. The wheels have brand new TPMS that still need to be programmed.
20% tint sides and rear
Z06 fuel rail covers
Lloyd’s Mats
Painted brake calipers with G2 system (black)
Included with the car are the following:
West Coast Corvette indoor car cover
Two additional shifters (OE with knob and Breathless Performance)
Original black fuel rail covers
Original floor mats
Two keys/fobs (one needs a battery)
The bad (minimal) include:
The driver’s side door doesn’t unlock with the fob.
It could probably use an alignment. I drive it so little that I never bothered to get it done.
Sporadically, when moving at a very slow speed with the wheels turned I get a message that says “Service ABS/Service Active Handling”. I shut the car down, restart and the message disappears.
Some rock chips, but for 19 years old it’s nothing to really sweat. I’ve taken the car to shows and have gotten nothing but positive comments.
This really is a great looking and driving Corvette. I’ve taken excellent care of the car while it has been under my watch and whoever gets it next will not be disappointed. Always garaged, clean title in hand, clean CARFAX. I will be re-plating the car with standard issue CA license plates.
