I am selling my built 2002 Subaru WRX. It has a full STI drive train including Brembo brakes. The motor is built to take 1000hp. Car has been converted to DBW and utilizes a Haltech elite 1500 standalone. This is a modern STI EJ257 with DAVCS. Tuned for E85 (has a flexfuel sensor) and makes 525whp on a low reading mustang dyno with a conservative tune (29psi). Its capable of a lot more! I only have about 2000 miles on the build. This has always been a project car (not my driver) so I took my time and did everything the right way. I put a ton of hours into this car and built it right. The car runs great, sounds awesome and is crazy fast. It is capable of making and handling a ton more power. Great drive, show and drag car!
This has been a 2+ year project of mine that I used as a shop car for doing shows and meets. We are getting another platform to build so this one is being sold. The car started off as a 2002 Subaru WRX with a good paint job and straight body. Zero rust under or anywhere else, it was a very solid Texas car.
We stripped the car and cleaned every piece of it, under it, inside and out. Brembo brakes, wheels, transmission, diff etc. from a 06 STI were installed. All suspension components are new OEM parts for a 06 STI, this includes struts, springs, control arms (front and rear) rear links, sway bars, end links, bushings, etc.
