For sale is a 2006 Z51 Corvette, manual transmission (6 speed), 74K miles, silver with painted gunmetal stripe, gunmetal headlights and black interior.
I have owned this car for most of its life. I'm an adult (in my 40's), clean non-smoker. The car is fully up to date on all maintenance, is very quick and handles amazingly well.
For convenience/comfort options, the car has the normal stuff (dual zoneclimate control, remote unlock key fobs, power windows and mirrors, etc.) andfollowing additional options which I think is called the 3LT package: Heads Up Display, Electronic Telescoping Steering Column, Memory Power driver settings, Power Driver and Passenger seat, Heated Driver and Passenger Seat, Premium Stereo with 6 Disc In-Dash Changer, Bose speakers, Auto Dimming Mirror w/Compass, Homelink Garage Door Remote in Driver Visor, Cargo Cover, Cargo Net.
In addition to the Z51 package (bigger brake discs, an oil cooler, different gearing and suspension), the car also has about $10K in smart, well researched modifications (just the cost of parts, not including labor/installation) The full info sheet is posted below.
Highlights include Kooks headers, high flow cats w/cross over pipe, Borla axle back exhaust, Bilstein shocks at all four corners with Doug Rippie Motorsports re- valving, Whiteline adjustable end inks, a Corvette ZR1 front swaybar, a Z06 rear sway bar, Hurst shifter, aftermarket (lighter) rims, an entire extra (another set) of rims w/Nitto tires, a ported/polished throttle body, a throttle body extender, a Vararam cold air intake, SLP under-drive pulley, etc.
In addition to normal maintenance (synthetic oil changes, brake and clutch fluid changes, etc.) - the car has a new water pump, thermostat, upper and lower hoses, fan shroud, coolant, I have changed the differential fluid multiple times, the car has a new clutch master cylinder, front discs have been replaced, I have changed the starter plus I installed a remote starter solenoid away from the heat of the headers. It also has recent spark plugs and MSD plug wires, etc. The tire pressure sensors have been changed recently (a $250 job), as well. The car is lowered about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch on the stock adjustment bolts and then had it aligned at West End Alignment (best performance alignment shop in Southern California). It is super stable, very neutral, handles great and is a blast in the canyons - like a different car from stock.
Car runs great, is completely up to date on maintenance, tech bulletins andGM recalls. TPMS sensors have been changed recently. Get in and drive crosscountry, commute with it (gets better mileage than my Volvo), take a drivingschool, etc., as it is.
Interior is clean. Has padded leather center console cover, a professionallyinstalled leather steering wheel cover, new shift knob, Lloyds floor mats, a cargocover, a cargo net, etc. .no weird smells, no rips, stains or anything other thannormal wear and tear.
The exterior is also clean. Although not a show car cosmetically , it's in goodexterior condition and it does not look like every other Corvette. The grey stripesare painted on and clear coated over (not tape stripes). Front and rear blackspoilers are ABS / urethane and can be removed in 10 minutes w/no damage tothe body surface if you don't want them. Rims are much lighter than the stock ones. Front and rear badges are new 100th Anniversary (black) Corvette emblems.
Car comes with an extra set of rims with Nitto tires, stock air cleaner, most of the parts that were taken off the car, maintenance items, etc. . Have receipts and a lot more was done / included (see below for a full list).
I know the car inside and out and am happy to answer questions, jump on the phone to discuss, etc. Clean title in hand. I can show the car in Los Angeles (South Bay Area near LAX) or Orange County (Huntington Beach/Fountain Valley/Westminster area).
Please ask all questions before bidding. The car is sold as is, where is. I recommend coming to see the car or having it inspected, as with any used car. I reserve the right to end the auction early or cancel bids as the car is available locally, as well.
$500 deposit due within one day of auction ending via cashiers check or postal money order. Remainder due within 3 days via cash or cashiers check. All funds must fully clear my bank before car will be released.
Shipping is buyer's responsibility, but I will work with your shipper. If you are a California buyer, a $50 extra fee is due and I will provide you with a Smog Certificate (the state requires this).
